Ugh... I totally forgot it was a holiday. My poor kid. :-( Again, he is with me 24/7 so I can't go to the store and get something... I did think (a couple of weeks ago) about getting him a cookie or cupcake, but I just made raisin cookies for him about a week ago, so we have plenty of sweets. Also, I gave him two books that arrived in the mail yesterday from Amazon. Oooh how I wish I had thought to wrap one up for v-day present. Tell me my child will not have scars for life... ;-) kind of joking... Maybe we will go out for lunch tomorrow. Mother guilt hits....

I promise, he will not have scars for life. This is the first year that Gracie has been really cared about Valentines and I think it's mostly due to being in pre-school and talking about it and preparing valentines for the school party. If I didn't bring it up last year she never would have missed it. It's amazing what that mothers guilt will do to you though.....
